Has anyone ever sold to a mint?
 

I'm wondering if anyone has sold their gold/silver coins/rounds to a mint? Or would it be better to sell to a local coin shop?

I don't want to deal in selling via the mail, so I'm looking for the best option I can do locally.

Local shop, or you can even try Craigslist with the hidden email option. Ebay is still a good place to unload a bit if you are comfortable with it though. You could try to see if there are any GIMers in your locale too, with a GIM FS listing.

Set up a few coin store relationships for in the future they will matter - they will.
